Afghanistan is known as a war-torn and conflict-affected country where the population suffers from a variety of health challenges, and the top four mortality causes are diseases such as influenza and pneumonia. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), an estimated over 6 million of our people have no access or limited access to healthcare facilities. This outlines JAHAN ELHAM aim to address unmet medical needs, where the level of pharmaceutical contribution and satisfaction remains low.
The mission started in 2018 on the pathway towards a healthy community in Afghanistan envisioning to upraise the quality of products in the market and provide a reasonable cost for our customers and consumers from urban areas to remote villages, and improve the health quality in Afghanistan by addressing unmet medical needs in particular, in the underserved areas of the country. We, at JAHAN ELHAM, believe in innovation, excellence, and responsibilities working towards the improvement of health services and health quality of our own Afghans and humanity. JAHAN ELHAM management has set up a core team of the most experienced and skilled national as well as international experts, where each team member’s ability to go beyond common practices and practical solutions to the very specific and challenging context of Afghanistan, which has been very crucial to the establishment of JAHAN ELHAM as well as designing its projects and health services. In order to realize and achieve the vision of JAHAN ELHAM, it requires a strong commitment and tireless efforts of a strong qualified team.
